The Steinbeck Experience is proud to announce an exclusive Sneak-Peek Preview of our flagship walking tour. This isn’t a traditional tourist excursion; it is a deep dive into the life, literature, and lasting lessons of Monterey’s most iconic voice.

A Love Letter to the Real Monterey

While the rest of the Row prepares for the midday brunch rush, join us at 10:00 AM for a meaningful journey through the streets that inspired Cannery Row and Sweet Thursday. We will bridge the gap between fiction and history, visiting the precise locations where Steinbeck’s Ed “Doc” Ricketts, “Mack and the Boys,” and other characters lived, worked, and dreamed.

As a new non-profit dedicated to preserving Steinbeck’s local legacy, we are currently in our “beta” phase. We are looking for 25 discerning locals and fans to walk the route with our founder and provide critical feedback. Your insights will directly shape the future of this experience, helping us refine the narrative before our official public launch.
